My Favorite Things...

I've never done a My Favorites, but here ya go!

1. Clinque Even Better Makeup SPF15.  $27

This stuff is AMAZING.  It's oil free and so soft and smooth on the skin.  It's very lightweight coverage, but still does a great job covering.  And unlike other makeup, I see an improvement in my skin when I wear this!!  SERIOUSLY!  I LOVE it.

2. L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Mascara $7

I have used this stuff forever and completely love it. It gives me the length and fullness I desire.  Try it and let me know what you think!

3.  Mary Kay Bronzing Powder $18.00

I just stumbled across this stuff a few months ago and I love it.  It gives your face the soft, sun-kissed glow you're looking for.  I highly recommend this.

Today's YOUR day

So I wasn't going to post for a second time today, but once I saw this picture, I decided to go ahead and do so. 

The happiest time in my life was when I was pregnant & gave birth to Stephen.  I had everything I had ever dreamed of having.  And I still feel that way.  I am truly happy for others and want the best out of life. 

It makes me sad when I see people who do not TRULY love themselves, yet they "fake it until they make it," which makes it impossible for them to love or show love towards others.  It's pretty easy for me to spot, because I used to be this way.  That was me for a long time.  Although I never mention this to them, because this is something they need to discover for themselves.  Plus, they would deny it anyways.

I liked this picture and I had to share it.  I also liked the catch phrase, "It's Never Too Late."  So cliche, but very true.  I hope everyone can read this and learn a little bit.

Love yourself always.  Everyone has flaws & weaknesses, so don't focus on those, yet focus on the good.

I'm an awesome mother, caring sister, a friend that will be there through anything.  I have a great family and AMAZING son.  What's there to not like?  I'm blessed, truly.  Who are you?

This weekend was an insanely fun weekend.  My cousin's daughter, Kyli, came and spent the night and I took her and Stephen to Frit'z Railroad Cafe.  It was a lot of fun and so gratifying seeing the look on their faces.  I just couldn't believe how excited they both were.  I imagined Stephen would be, but Kyli loved it equally as much. 

Aren't they just the most adorable things in their hats!!  I had such a great time just watching them.

This weekend was ALSO Stephen's birthday party!  He had such a good time.  It was pretty crazy at first because I was running super late, like always, and when we got to the shelter house there were people there already throwing a birthday party.  However, I'm a smart Mama-ista!  I booked the shelter house FAR in advance and paid $$, so I politely told them all of this and they happily moved.  All in all, it was a great birthday party!

 Easter was just a couple of weeks ago and my baby had his pictures taken.  I couldn't be more happy at how they turned out! I absolutely love them!
